Welcome to the CMS Demo

This is the front (home) page of the website. It is comprised of bits and pieces of content from other parts of the site. It also has some content that is not on any other pages (but could easily put on other pages). Most of the time websites using a CMS like this one use the frontpage for displaying excerpts from news pages, articles, blogs, news feeds, etc. Basically it serves as bunch of examples of what's 'inside' the website.

The website is database driven and so all the pages are built on the fly. This allows for flexible displaying of information. It also means links, menu items and other 'linked' items are updated and corrected automatically. For example, if you call a page 'silly articles' and link to it from a menu and then later decide to rename it 'serious articles' the menu, name and other links will all update automatically.

Server Strike
Yesterday all servers in the U.S. went out on strike in a bid to get more RAM and better CPUs. A spokes person said that the need for better RAM was due to some fool increasing the front-side bus speed. In future, busses will be told to slow down in residential jhiji9bh9ijbh9jioKiss
